NASRDA as an Agency, is organized along six integrated departments with each department charged with specific responsibilities. Each department is headed by a member of the management team. NASRDA is also charged with cordinating reponsibilities for all the six national space program centers. Lastly NASRDA, through it's initiatives to hasten the transfer and application of Space Programe technologies for National Sustainable Development and achievement of National Millenium Goals, has established a communication satellite limited company called NigComSat Ltd of Nigeria, on behalf of Nigeria. NigComSat is the first of the commercialization of research and development products, to be established as an autonomous business entity. Some more ventures are in the pipeline.
